I am having the exact same issue with my 2003 G35 sedan. Did you ever find out how to fix this? Was it an expensive fix?

you guys have me trippin out, I got electric seats in my '04 sedan, too... haven't had that problem yet, though... underneath the seat, there's two or three wiring harnesses, make sure they're all secure... Open the driver's side rear door and squat down beside your car and look underneath the seat... If you still can't see the cables, you can unbolt the four bolts holding the seat down to the chassis of the car and tilt the chair forward/upward and check the cables (otherwise, it's somewhat difficult to see them)...

Your seat motors could be shot, also (just like window motors/actuators). Does the seat height still adjust up/down, does it still slide forward/back? There should only be one motor to replace if the other functions are still working.

There should also be a fuse that governs the movement of the chair, but I'm not sure which one it would be, never had chair problems and I've had my seats in and out of my G at least 6 times.

Good luck, let me know what you find out

I have a 2003 sedan and have had to change the plastic gear seat track assembly 3 times. Is there a replacement part for this gear? Will upgrading to the coupe seat and frame solve this problem?

99.9% of the time, it's the seat switch that causes the problems, I have never heard of anyone having to replace the frame more than 1 time,......

I replace the track frame because I cannot get the plastic gear by itself. What is happening is that one side of the seat moves and the switch side does not. I have Bibb told the gear is the problem by an Infiniti service manager.
