Turn Signal Issue

this may be the wrong forum, and if so I apologize. Please let me know.

Just yesterday I got my new car, new to me anyway. It is a 2006 infiniti g35 coupe. I like it a lot so far. Pretty quick, agile like a ****, and very stylish. I drove it home about an hour and a half, and everything worked great!

It's cold here, it came from warmth, and it's six years old. So I have no idea if maybe that assisted in the issue arising. However, when I got in the car this morning and started driving to work, the turn signals didn't work. The hazards work, the turn signal bulbs flash when locking the door. But, the click wouldn't happen, and the lights would not come on. It was like this the entire drive to work. I have no idea what might have caused it.

Let it sit all day, tried to research it, found nothing definitive. When I got in the car tonight, they worked. I am worried however that I may have the issue again. I called the infiniti dealer and it's 105$ just to have somebody look at it. anybody know what it might be?

im having same issue but my hazards r staying on.. nissan dealership was no help here n panama city and infiniti dealership is over 100 miles away.. i have tracked it down to either a bad hazard wire to the bcm or a bad bcm itself... also i have work wheels without tpms installed so i always have that light but now it is off as well.. my blinkers work but not my hazards dont even with the button.. all i did was find the bcm and unplug it and plug back n..
when i scanned it it came back with codes c1708,c1709,c1710,c1711, i cleared them and now none r present.. also got a brand new battery yesterday to make sure that wasnt it..

btw the bcm is right under the fuse panel on driver side, just pull all the platic off and the dead pedal and u will see it.. lil black box below the fuses inside the car

Do you have the shop manual
LT-107 is where the description starts...
http://x.infinitihelp.com/forum/loca...s.php?catid=22
( Lighting system )
There are a PILE of fuses in the system to test first before jumping to modules..
Do you have a code reader?? If not Auto zone will hook you up...

Do you have a 12 volts test light?? spare fuses??
How do you & electricity get along?
Any mods or 100% stock?

i have a modis scanner, it reads everything.. i scanned the bcm codes and got 1708,1709, 1710, and 1711.. i then found my bcm and when i just touched the wires it would stop.. i found the wire to my hazards(green and red, pin number 29) i stuck a tiny wire in it make sure connection was good.. worked for a min but then came back.. so i played with it for a while plugging and unplugging alot.. now my hazards dont work at all and my tire pressure light doesnt work either.. it should be on..
everything else works fine.. ill get more into it this week.. thinking i need new bcm which dealer quoted me 350 then u have to get it programmed which im sure is another 100-200
