Battery drain - I guess it's my turn! :/
Well... I guess it's my turn to experience the frustrations of the battery drain problem. It's so frustrating I'm tempted to just drive my car to carmax, sell it to them, and be done with it!
-2004 g35 coupe
-stock headunit... NOT the bose headunit
-new battery
My car sits 4-5 days a week when I'm at work. That's when it dies, week after week after week. I took it to an Infiniti dealership and $56 later I was told nothing is wrong with my car.
It's so frustrating! It's like feeling like crap and the doctor telling you nothing is wrong with you, lol... HELP ME PLEASE before I make the drive to carmax, lol.

Are you sure it is battery drain, or is it lack of charge? If you are certain your alternator is working correctly, and it is indeed a parasitic load, the thing to do is get an ammeter in series with the battery. Then systematically pull fuses until you see a significant drop in current. You will want to study your wiring diagram and use a deliberate logical order when doing this. Once you isolate which circuit (fuse) it is, determine what all that fuse supplies and go from there. Do you have any aftermarket alarm systems, or modifications. If so I would give them extra scrutiny from the beginning.
Best O Luck!

I am currently having the same problem with my g35 - has been in the shop for tests - on the 3rd time now. First they said it was my abs relay - so they changed that and it is still not starting - usually takes almost 2 weeks before it happens. I am on my 3rd new battery - because they keep saying my battery is testing low - well I know that!!! That is why I am bringing it back to them. They called today and said they still can't find anything - to pick up my car and when it won't start again to have it towed to them - like that is going to tell them anything - I am so frustrated right now!!!! Help!!!!
