Amp Draw range when car is off?

I can't seem to find a solid answer on what the range of amp draw should be when my car is off. Can anyone tell me what they are experiencing with their 2006 G35 Coupe w/ navi ? I'm getting a 500 to 700 Milli-amp reading. I've heard the computers go to "sleep mode" after a certain amount of time. Can someone confirm? Thanks.

Our shop G35C w/ nav pulls 2 milli-amps when in "sleep" mode. It usually takes around 30 min to do this. Our 03 G race car pulls 12 MA's.
Take both cables off, negitive first always, then re-connect the negitive. Connect your meter leads to the negitive side and the positive cable.

Thanks.
Don't you mean connect the first meter lead to the car positive terminal and the other meter lead to the positive battery terminal for amp draw?

Sorry guys, I'm an idiot

of course the amp draw was 700 milliamp....because the DOME light comes on for a short time when you reconnect the power to the battery.
I can't believe I overlooked this. please don't tell anyone. After I shut the dome light off the amp draw dropped waaaay down to 130 milliamp.

Yes you are correct, my mistake. That's what I get for doing too many things at once. Thanks for clarifying.
