how to semi permanent lift car??

how to semi permanent lift car??
okay so i'm sending my wheels off to get polished/painted and wanted to do some brake work and install few mods (plenum spacer/intake etc..) anyways while my wheels are gone, what is the best way to store the car for some minor work? can i just throw it on some jack stands? (as in 4 jack stands?) thanks in advance
