Problem with windows motor?

Hi Guys, the passenger window would not roll up or down.
When you hit the button to make the window go up or down from both the driver and passenger side, there is a clicking noise but no movement.

The motor was recently replaced with a brand new one and has been replaced twice already.

The car is a 2003 Infiniti G35 Sedan.

Could the problem possibly be with the broken AC circuit board and radio that's going to be replaced soon? Any solutions besides hitting reset or buying a new motor?

Another possibility I was thinking of, When the engine gets reved up such as from a stop, theres a whirling noise that wasn't there before like it's coming from the alternater and the broken window motor starts clicking. Is there another circuit board besides the AC Circuit board I need to replace or what?

try tapping/banging on the handle of the door that isn't working while pressing the window UP button. If the motor gets jolted back to life and functions, then it's a crapped out motor.

If your motor have been replaced twice, there might be additional problem like you stated and. The replacement motors are supposed to be better quality, but you never know.. goodluck

Problems are different then the coupes, sometimes my window doesn't roll down it
Just makes a clicking noise. Infiniti charges $125 per hour just to
Look at the car and the service reps are kinda dick heads, they don't care if ur car gets
Fixed they just want ur money. I already changed my window motor and its acts the same
What else could be wrong?

Yea i recently just fixed mine.
What you have to do to fix it is take the whole window regulator/motor out of the door frame.
Because you said that theres a clicking sound, that most likely mean that the motor is still working.
Once you removed the motor, there are three screws on it that you need to unscrew to open up the internals of the motor.

Once inside, you want to clean off all of the black carbon deposits that are on the copper contact patch part of the motor with some rubbing alcohol. It might take a while but it will come off. You also want to check the state of the brushes inside the motor also because Infiniti uses brushed electric motors that evantually wear down and need replacement. The brushes-it's a tiny piece of like hardened plastic that makes contact with the copper patch- are attached to two flexible metal bits. Slowly bend the two brushes inward careful not to break them and go slowly. Insert the motor back in, plug it back into the car and see if it works before reassemblying the door panel.

You might also want to buy some multi-purpose grease at a local auto store to lube up the motor because mine was pretty low on grease when i took it out. You also don't have to run the motor with the brushes. Mine is running fine with just metal touching metal although it freezes sometimes but a good banging on the side panel gets it back again.

Good luck hope you fix your motor. we all know how much of a pain it can be to have a broken window regulator.
