I have an 05 G35 coupe and the other day the airbag light started blinking. any tests I can run to check this out myslef or do I have to take it to the dealer.

 

My buddy was telling me about this, he used to be a nissan tech before going to mercedes. I belive he said it was a connection in the drivers door, the connection fails and basically they solder a new plug on. There's a few Tech's on the forum so I'm sure you'll get a more certain answer shortly here.

check that one out. You might want to try the reset, but if it comes back on you prob need a service. Good luck!

 

There is also a recall for the g35 coupe not sure year to year but it included mine 2003. I didn't have any lights, but they still replaced the side impact airbag i believe.

 

I happen to have this same problem just the other day. I was going to make a similar post then I saw yours. Very weird if you ask me, because we kinda have this rather rare problem at about the same time. Did Nissan put a timer in our car or something @_@. btw, mine is a 04 G Coupe
