06 RWD ABS sensor on 04 AWD?

So, I have been looking around for a used replacement driver's front ABS sensor for my 04 X for a while now and they are over $200 new and tough to find used. I found a driver's front ABS sensor on e-bay from an 06 RWD sedan and contacted the seller. They said that it should fit for an AWD 04. They had it listed as fitting 03-06 so I took a chance because it was a good deal. I received it today and installed it and at first all related lights (AWD, VDC OFF, SLIP, and ABS) lights went off. I backed the car out of the garage and took it for a spin and it almost immediately kicked on the VDC OFF and SLIP lights. I started to turn around because it was acting a little strange (hesitant) but before I could even do that, maybe 100 feet from my drive way, all 4 lights came back on and the car drove normally. My question is, shouldn't the sensors be pretty much the same? If it will fit in the 04 harness (it was just plug and play pretty much) shouldn't it work fine? I would like my AWD back by winter, haha. Thanks for any tips you can give me.

Well not knowing I would call the dealer and see if the part # are the same.
That would be a place to start?

According to Infiniti's catalog lookup, the 2WD and AWD ABS sensors for the front are different. They may look the same, but there's alway s that slight difference ( more likely internallty ) that make it different from one to another.
The part number for the AWD is 47910-AL805 and that is the same for both sides on the front.
