I'm currently using Avic d3 on non-nav. now I'm seriously considering molding an ipad on my dash.
However, it's been a mystery for me whether I'm able to get the OEM LCD and controller working without its nav function or not. Just wanted to use the oem screen as a secondary display to my avic or hook it up with hks camp. I've seen a person hooked it up with his camp unit. but it was to his nav equipped g I believe.
I've been seaching for a while and it seems like there are people wanting to install DD on their nav equipped Gs and some others trying to install nav on their non nav.
