My horn works intermittently only. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I can't seem to find any circumstances or coincidences (such as engine hot or cold, weather hot or cold, day or night, etc.) where it makes a difference. I've turned the car on and off mid-driving to see if a reboot helps, but it doesn't.

Since it does sometimes work, it doesn't appear to be a fuse issue.

Everything is stock except I have an aftermarket Viper alarm that was installed when the car was new back in 2007 (have had no problems since).

Any idea what I should check for? It is very dangerous to drive without a horn! Thanks!

Next time your horn doesn't work, try rotating the steering wheel around to see if it helps. At the same time, try pressing your radio buttons on the steering wheel - they usually share the same wiring harness so they shouldn't work either, although I am not certain of that with respect to the G platform.

If you confirm that turning the steering wheel resolves the horn noise, then you probably need a new clock spring.
