Exhaust system dilema
Hello, my situation is I have this rattling like noise like if something is lose on the right side of my exhaust system, exactly we're the resonator lies. I took it to 3 specialist an said it was that. Now they told me if I wanted to replace the resonator or have it replaced for a straight pipe. What would be the difference? Or if I stay with the resanator what type should I look for the one that the specialist was suggesting was a less large and in the inside had some swirls in it and my friend told me that the oen resanators look honey comb inside so am a little confused because my muffle makes decent noise but I don't wanna mess up and get something am going to regret. By the way they were charging me 80 for each resonator and 138 for labor. The reason that they going to charge me both was because the left side was dented so they suggested to switch both.

a resonator is a resonator. replace it with any one they have on hand. or just straight pipe it. it might get a tiny tiny bit louder but your muffler is still there so i wouldn't worry.
you dont have to change the left side just because its dented. my exhaust is dented, torn, chipped, and more and i dont care.
