Help please car wont start!!
Hey guys i hate to make this my first post. This forum has always been very helpful to me since i bought my G last year. Now to the problem
2 days ago I decided to finally plug in my drivers seat which Ive had for about 6 months without plugging in because the plugs didnt match. ( the seat was from an 04 coupe while i have a 07 coupe), and i actually got it to work. Now the bad news. I went to turn my car on and it will NOT START. It cranks but will NOT turn over.
The red security light next to the steering wheel remains solid when i try to start the car and also the radiator fan starts up. But no turn over.
I dont know what to do anymore and my car is so low that towing it to the nearest infiniti (which is 15 miles away) is probably suicide. CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE? and yes ive done my share of searching the forum. I have done it for the past 2 days straight and i cant find a definite answer. I keep hearing "NATS" and "IVIS" mentioned and thats about it.

If the red security light is on, then there`s an issue with your NATS (no key recognition). If your rad fans are coming, this is usally an issue of the ECM being damaged, or not being powered up.
When you turn your ignition to the "ON" position, do you see the "Service Engine Soon" light illuminated in the cluster (during bulb check)? If you do, then the ECM is powered up, and you have a NATS problem. If you don't, you have an ECM issue to at hand.

Luckily i fixed it when this happened by just letting the battery drain and restarting the car. i have no idea why, but the seat was causing it. soon as i would plug in the seat, the radiator fan would come on.
now HERE WE GO AGAIN, i was driving last night and my car literally immobilized itself while i was driving. and were back to square one. seats not plugged in this time so i have noooo idea whats wrong now. I was thinking it might be an ECM issue as well but the SES light DOES come on when i turn the key. it cranks but wont turn over. do you happen to have any solutions for the NATS problem guys? and thank you for the earlier responses. definetely helped the first time this happened 3 months ago.
