I just bought a 2003 G35 yesterday, and one of the problems I have is the automatic locks don't work? The guy said he's had the problem for a while. I'm a NOOB, yeah I know. I've done a little bit of research and found that it's a common problem, but that's all I've found. I don't feel like searching anymore than I have for the past hour lol. so can somebody please give me a solution some how? Or at least tell me how to replace the mechanism that actuates the locks.

LH 80553-AL500
RH 80552-AL510

prices are a good 130 per actuator

Problem is synonymous with our G35s, how many miles are on your G, mine went out around 50k

 

my driver side door lock actuator went out on my 05 coupe about a year ago lol i have been too lazy to replace it. I just use the key to lock and unlock the door lol

 

I have a good 155k but it went out like at 125k. I got it 2 weeks ago though lol.
