oem trans cooler bypass possible.

2003 g35 coupe 5AT. I just replace the radiator the car is running great, but after driving it for half an hour I noticed my trans cooler hoses had come off. Would it be safe to bypass the transmission cooler?

Not unless you want to overheat transmission.

Transmission cooler lines should be easy to re-attach, My concern would be replacing the transmission fluid.

+1 re-attach those lines and check your AT fluid level using the procedure in the service manual. Throw some worm gear clamps on the lines if you're worried about them popping off again.

I believe I will replace the lines and put worm gear clamps on. I'm seriously not looking forward to adding more fluid to the trans. 03 G ftl.

Adding a little fluid should be the least of your concern

Considering I have to climb under the car to add it I agree with you. Its the least of my concerns but none the less it sucks. Speaking of, anyone know the size of the Allen head bolt? I can't remember.
