Im not sure how to describe this but going to give it a shot

So the drivers seat, when the car is off and I pull on the lever to get into the back seat has stopped working.

I can pull the lever and the seat back moves, but not the bottom of the seat

I have no problem moving the seat forward, backward etc when I am actually clicking on the switches

But when the car is off, and I want to get into the back seat and pull the lever only the back of the seat tilts forward

Does anyone know how much this would cost to fix? Or how to fix it themselves?

I cant imagine that the motors are no good, as the seat moves perfectly fine with the switches. It just so happens that when I pull the seat forward the seat doesnt move anymore

 

There is a lever/latch on the back of each seat. This latch does the same thing as the lever on the side of the seat. It tilts the top half forward. Under the rear latch, there is a small button. If you tilt the seat forward and then press the button, the seat moves all the way forward to let the person out. When you come back, push the button FIRST and it slides back and THEN you push the seat back into it's normal position. This took me a while to figure it out. Good luck.

I dont see a button at all, its a smooth back on the seat
