Please give advice! "To fix or not to fix"
To fix or not to fix.
That is the question.
The towing guy said he is an independent mechanic, and he offered me $45/hr labor to have my car fix. Everything include roughly around $4500.
I really need some idea how much will it cost me to have it repaired.
Please take a look at the following photo.
The car has 176K on it. I don't know if it is worth to fix it. I would say if I need to spend $4500, I would probably part it out.
Please give advice, please.
One more thing, I live in Minneapolis, MN.

Seems like a lot of $ to sink in to a car w/176k on the clock.
It may be time to part it out & use that money along with any cash you get from the part out to get something newer.
If you are looking for another G, winter is the perfect time to get a good deal in your area on these type of cars.

I don't plan to part it out myself. I don't have space to store it. I wonder if you know roughly how much I can get if I sell it to junkyard or recycle company?
It is hard to part it out by myself. I don't have space to store my car and all the tools and parts. I wonder if you know anyone who is interested to buy car and part it out?

Is it driveable? If so, drive it to a local body shop and get a quote. The itemized quote will tell you all the parts you need to buy. Then check the marketplace and ebay to see if you can get them cheaper. As long as there is no frame damage (doesnt look like there is), it would be an easy fix. Buy everything used, you can probably repair it for 2k (not counting paint).

If it's paid for, I think I would cut my loses and sell it to a wrecking yard and start over. You cannot fix this yourself. I can see from the pix, it's going to take some time in a frame shop and then it's still never going to be perfect.
There's a company just north of you that specializes in G's.
They should have the rest of the parts you need.

I use the http://parts.infinitiusa.com/ the find the part number of my hood.
But it show a 07 hood part number, I am sure the 06 sedan has a different hood than the 07.
I wonder if anyone know the correct hood part number of a 2006 G35x sedan

Does it share the same hood with coupe?
I just called the dealer, the part number is F5100 AC5MM.
no luck with googling the part number, cannot find an oe replacement.
I also called the slide good, they have just sold the only 06 hood.
If anyone know any part source, please let me know, thanks.
