Help! Car starts but won't stay on
Hey guys..
So the other day, I replaced the AC outlet fuse in my car because it was blown out. Stupidly, I decided to check up on the other fuses both by the clutch and under the hood. After that whenever I try to start my car, it'll turn on for a second then just die right away. However, if I press on the gas after it starts (even a tiny bit just to jump the rpm a little) it will stay on.
I checked and made sure that the other fuses weren't blown and that they were in the right place. It drives perfectly after I press the gas a little at start but it idles at a really low RPM around 500.. and when it is idling it feels like its almost going to shut off again, but it doesn't.
Does anyone know a solution? Do I just have to do a throttle and ECU reset or something of that nature? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks guys.
Also, idk if this helps, but when I turned on my car afer I changed the fuse the outside temp meter was erratic and it started at 100 and worked its way down to the actual temp. The odometer trips also were reset.
