Trunk broken

The other day I was trying to get into my trunk and I noticed that the keyfob and release button from inside the dash wouldn't open it. I tried the switch in the glovebox and still nothing. I've been using the glow in the dark switch thing from the back seat in order to open it but then that broke. So now, I have no way into getting in my trunk. Is there another way to open it, or am I stuck with going to the dealership? Btw I hear a clunk noise everytime I attempt to open with my key fob or through the button in-dash.

Where did the glow in the dark manual release break? There should still be the cord to yank on even if the handle fell off. My trunk stopped working and it ended up being some frayed wires where the harness bends. Since you hear a clunk then the connection is fine, but your actuator is probably going out. I have a working actuator for sale in the Private Marketplace if youre interested shoot me a PM.

Unfortunately, I think it broke from where the rope releases the trunk so that's why I said I have no other access.

Well instead of going to the dealership I spent a couple hours removing the back seats and panels in order to access the trunk. It turns out it was the little actuator, a latch wasn't in place so I just popped it back and it seems to be working fine now.
