Afternoon all, my 2003 g35 coupe is having problems. Whenever I start it takes 2-3 seconds for the engine to start, the Service engine soon, slip and vdc off lights are on as well. After the car starts it runs fine. I went to oreillys and plugged it in and it showed that the left camshaft position sensor was faulty. Bought it there and took it to a shop this morning to have it installed. After it was done, the car didn't take as long to get started and the lights disappeared for a while. Went back out to start it up and It's the same problems all over again. Went back up to O'reilly and plugged it back in and said it's still the cam sensor. The store employee then took me to his computer and showed me like 20 possible fixes to the problem. I'm so frustrated right now! Is there any fix to the problem?? I disconnected the battery and that did nothing. I don't know what else to do and I'd rather not take it to a dealer and charge me out the butt.
