Hey,
Im going to keep this short as possible.
Sunday i realized my trunk won't latch, i thought it was ice. The next day i realized the latch itself is bent (the part attached to the bumper, not the part attached to the trunk). I bend it back in place and the trunk eventually latches (if i bend it just right). However after i open it up again its bent again and i have to re-bend it again.
Anybody know why my trunk latch keeps bending?

does it close easily when u close the trunk? maybe the trunk or latch on the trunk is crooked so when u close it its hitting the mounted latch? idk

 

When i close the trunk i have to make sure the little metal thing is bent back but that might actually be my problem, i might have to bend the little metal thing to line up with the mounted latch, ill have to go check that out, Thanks!
