Sunroof Problem. Help is appreciated :)

Okay so my sun roof will tilt open and the motor is working fine. When i try to press the down/open button to actually open it it gets caught on something and doesent want to move any farther than a quarter inch. There's a little metal bracket that connects to both sides of my sunroof and its damaged on one side (Bent out of shape a little bit). That side is the one that doesent want to budge, i can tell the other side wants to move but gets pulled back because of the other one getting caught. I took some pictures of the bent part of the metal connecting both sides of the sunroof so you can see how bad it is. I also took pictures of where the bracket connects to the sunroof because that's slightly damaged too. I also took a video of both sides so you can see how to sunroof gets jammed. Im thinking i just need to buy a new metal piece but im not 100% sure. If that is the case can someone tell me how to take that metal piece off? I see botls or screws in the back of it but dont know how id get to them because its basically under my roof

Any Help is greatly appreciated! Even if you dont know thank you for taking the time to read to try and help me fix the problem

I had a similar problem with my sunroof. I can't remember exactly how to do it, but I learned from google. Do a little bit of research, it's one of the top results.
