P1705 Error, No Idea Why
P1705 Error, No Idea Why
After I had my clutch and flywheel replaced a couple days ago, my car popped the service engine light. So I brought it to AutoZone, had the code pulled, and it turned out to be a P1705 error.
That could only be one of 2 things, according to several sites. The actual sensor is on its way out, or the harness could be shorting.
Now here's the weird part: when I reset the ECU with the on/off pedal cycle, the code turns off. But when I'm driving, and let off the gas pedal, the light blips on and off quickly. It keeps doing that when I let off the gas. So I ended up doing the APP reset, and it works for maybe 50 miles and then the Service light comes back on.
I'll be checking the connectors after work, but has anyone had this problem? Possible fixes? Entire sensor or just the harness?
