2003 G35 Sedan Rear Air Diffusers

Hey guys just a heads up for people living in the rust belt, I have the Aero Sedan with the plastic diffusers covering my rear subframe braces, Recently took them off to discover that they are rotten, ordered new ones but just a heads up, Looks like snow/salt and mud sits in them and just rots it out, Yuck!

They come on the aero package G35's with the rear wing.

With the wing and diffuser it lowers the Cd from 0.29 to 0.28 or something like that saving you $0.000001 cent of gas per mile

Haha, Is that about what it cost to fix? Taking my car in for repairs soon, That and a hole by the rocker panel, Previous owner didn't undercoat it much, Weird drivers side of car has zero rust, Passengers side between the rocker and floor pan has a few small holes, which isn't much to fix, How long does it take to remove the subframe and gas tank? Funny the car never rattles or squeaks and passed its inspection even with the rotten connectors

She's FIXED

Got my car fixed, new rear member stays and the subframe brace, Got nice ones on ebay from slide good, I imagine they were rusty many years ago and never noticed at inspection because of those plastic diffusers. Car is much quieter on the road now Took the guy 9 hours to install them though, Salt sucks, also had the rocker under the plastic fixed too, Didn't mention my starter decided to take a dump the week I was taking the car in for the braces Oh well car is in pretty nice shape now, body was always nice but there was some rust underneath, Its gone now, and yes I had it undercoated. Now I can maybe put a new touch screen deck in or some rims or something fun!
