LED Bulb Replacement Issue

Sup guys and gals,

I bought some LED replacement bulbs for my car and after replacing the driver's side turn signal, all the day running lights just stopped working. Also, after replacing the turn signals in the rear, they started blinking very quickly (as if one or both were out).

I'm at a loss for words here. I tried putting the old lights back in, but still nothing worked. It's like installing the LEDs broke the day runners.

Any thoughts would be very appreciated.

If I'm not mistaken, the day lights are 194 bulbs. They are notoriously weak. May have blown them. As far as the fast blink issue. Leds don't carry the same resistance as an incandescent bulb and the blink module will not operate correctly. They sell load resistors for that purpose. Check eBay. They are cheap.

I did the rear first. They worked fine. It was right after replacing the front turn signal/running light that all the day running lights all stopped working at the same time. I found and replaced a blown fuse and tried again, which blew the fuse a second time. Does anyone know what that bulb socket is supposed to be? And there's some CK socket business that I'm unfamiliar with as well. I'm starting to think the bulb is constantly blowing the fuse.

Edit: the side markers don't work, but the turn signals work, front and back. Also, the tail lights don't light up when the headlights are turned in, either.

It could be that the front turn signal sockets are CK wired not standard. That is what causing your fuse to blow. Buy some CK wired led's and use resistors to counter hyper blink like what Jimmy said.

So helpful. Thank you so much. I hadn't realized that they were CK socket. That is indeed what was blowing my fuse. I contacted the seller and requested a bulb that would be compatible.
