2004 G35 coupe. A couple days ago my battery was dead and I jumped it. That day I noticed that my car has been making a sound as if something was turning "on and off". I suspect this is what made my battery drain in the first place but I'm not sure. Well today my battery died again, and I had it replaced under warranty. Not that I expected the noise to go away because of the battery, but it's still there. I have no idea where to begin when it comes to diagnosing this problem. It just sounds like it's coming from behind the clock or nav controls. The only effect it has on the car when happening is that the idle sounds a bit under strain when it's "on". Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

Forgot to mention, this happens with the car off, no key in ignition as well.
