I'm in the process of engine swapping a VQ35DE into a 2004 sedan 6MT. Same year/specs for the donor engine except came from an automatic. Alternator and harness are the original with the chasis. I tightened down the main positive connection cable that spans the starter(E203) and alternator(E202). Now I'm left with "Alternator (E)" connection (E211) with no wear indicators or clean spots to match it up to any bolts. I've googled pics of it with no luck. Where on the alternator is this suppose to connect to?

 

Have you consulted the FSM?

Did you confirm the wiring harness's are the same in both the auto and MT?

I don't think that they are?
