AC amplifier?
AC amplifier?
Hi, everyone i have a 2006 g35 6mt and my ac quit blowing took to dealership and told me my ac amplifier is bad. My question is is this the whole unit where i can change out the dash to the jdm double din to fix my problem or is the ac amplifier something totally separate?

There is a relay behind the fuse box in the cabin, it's simple to remove the foot rest, kick plate, and the screw that holds the fuse panel in place. The AC blower relay is on the BACK of the fuse panel and is the one closest to the firewall (there's only two, both are blue, exact same relay), autozone carries the OEM relay for about $35, I had to replace mine recently when the blower motor was not functioning. If your AC head unit displays properly and the only thing that isn't working is the fan blowing air I would SWAP the two relays, I have no idea what the second one even is but it's the same relay if I'm not mistaken. If your fan is then working, buy a good relay to replace the bad one.
Disconnect your battery first before taking the fuse panel off.
