Problems with Lights
reverse light used to work now they don't, swapped them out with all new bulbs and only the driver side shortly comes on then off if i bang the taillight assembly hard enough, also the passenger fog light won't come on but the amber lights turn on when i use the turn signal and the passenger side marker light won't come on, any ideas how to fix them? is it the fuses because i checked the harness wiring for taillights and everything seems to be in normal working order
If it's a sedan a common problem is for the wires to break inside the flexible wire loom for the trunk. Disconnect the battery and take the loom apart to see if the wires are broken, usually people pull new wires through the loom and solder/shrink them on both sides. Eventually they will break and arc out against one another and blow fuses.

Well since percussive maintenance (banging on it) is doing something it's probably a loose connection somewhere at the tail light assembly. Take it apart and spray a plastic safe electrical contact cleaner into the plug where the lamp goes. Make sure to let it dry before reinstalling the lamp.
Also check the harness for any corrosion and clean it up with contact cleaner as well.
MAKE SURE THE CAN SAYS SAFE FOR USE ON PLASTIC!
