Hmm...that doesn't look that bad at all. When you tap into the cig lighter, are the starter wires close by? Do you rememeber what colors they were? Yellow with Red?

Ign- Black w/Red
Start 1- White w/Red
Start 2- White w/Green

Both starter wires need to be powered for the vehicle to start when the engine is cold

So do you have to turn the key to ACC and then press the button, or can any thief come in the car w/o a key and start it?

Yes the key must be turned on, then push the button. it cant be started without a key because of the transponder in the key

so i dont get the point, you still hve to put the key in and turn it, then hit the button??? theres no point, if all cars came factory like that, people would want the key to do the whole procedure in one turn as they do now. its more ergonomic. push button start is a great feature when you have a key fob, but if u still have to put the key in the ignition and turn it, it seems kind of ricey. there is just not point and no conveinence factor this way

i wouldnt say ricey because the point is to be "unique."
maybe you think it's not necessary to do that but others do it for some other reasons
