Push Button Start

I am thinking of adding a push button start from the M35/45. Could someone tell me what items I would need to complete this project? Also, I'm pretty sure I would need some drilling/cutting of my dash parts in order to mount the button. How hard is it to do this or could I pay some company to do this for me?

Thanks for any info.

The '05 sedans and '06 coupe/sedan have the inteligent key. The older models don't.

its aftermarket, made by Ignited. I took out the cig lighter and used the opening in the panel, fit perfect.

Do you have any sort of write up, or something that you followed? I'm sure many people here would be interested in doing this. (Me included) Thanks!

no prob. Whenever you get a chance. A wiring diagram is all that we really need. I just want to know the correct wire to splice and put the switch between. Thanks!

Basically you'll connect the push button to a relay, then the relay to Ignition(2 connections), ground, and starter. It can be done with any push button switch & a relay.

It should work on any year vehicle, not sure of anyone in SoCal, I'm in Missouri. Its pretty easy to do, 4 connections , no more than 1 1/2 ft from the button
