Ill look into that.. I was leanning towards the Panasonic 50" Plasma. TH-50PX60U , its $2999 plus tax, BUT this weekend theres a 10% off for servicemembers instore purchases.

I would recommend the Sony Bravia...Flat panel LCD!!! I got it...so far it's pretty cherry!!! You can even use the monitor for your computer. Great for gaming especially if you got an xbox 360!!! When your watching dvd's....it's pretty crisp...almost like HD!!! Just remember...Oceanic only has about 10 or so HD channels. All the others are just a regular digital signal. So, the quality of the picture in not like HD! But, when your watching a HD channel...it's awesome!!!!!!!

The 40" run about 3k-3.3k....if your in the military better yet!!! It's way cheaper at the NEX and I think this memory day they have a scratch card sale. Or another thing if you buy at the exchange….the extended warranty is way cheaper….3 yrs for around 80 bucks….compared to Circuit City or Best Buy 3 years for 300+!
