Double Din Install

Where did you guys get your double dins installed at? I don't want to go to just any shop that hasn't done it before. I'm ordering the dd kit from grubbs. Also any recommendations on a good dd dvd deck? My gf said she would buy me one for my birthday...well as long as she can play her korean dvds...small price to pay i guess. Her price range is around 1200.

okay, for that price range, you can hit up either the Kenwood double din, or the Alpine DD. both are great. the Alpine is cheaper, so you'll be able to have some extra cash to purchase the steering wheel control module, and other crap!

contact Samson @ Revision Audio @ 845-3811. tell him senjen referred you.

Thanks senjen I'll give him a call or swing by. Oh another questions am I going to be able to use my stock bose speakers? Do they still have a small amp connected to each speaker? I'm not sure if bose does it that way or not.

do you have dual climate control? If not, than its pretty easy to do yourself. I did mine myself with some help from a friend. I just searched for a DIY instruction guide that docron wrote a few years back. Very detailed instructions. If you got dual climate control, you just gotta solder the button on or something...I dunno. but yeah, not too hard.

BTW..I got a kenwood DD and its awesome!

i bought the steering wheel control module from Brandon a few months back, but never got a chance to install it. I think I should leave it up to the pro's for this one...so I guess I'll be paying samson a visit soon too!
