anyone interested in custom LED interior lights?

Hey, if anyone is interested in doing a custom LED interior I have my services for hire. It would be great for a show car or if you just want to bring a little enhancement to your nights. I used white LEDs but just about any color can be used.

All of the LEDs are resistored, soldered, heat shrinked, split loomed where exposed, flush mounted with hot glue, shaved (to give a more diffused light patern, no points of light) and terminated with Molex connectors for a quick disconnect for removal of panels. Nothing is hard wired so no wires will need to be cut to remove any trim piece. Here are a couple of pics of the install.

For the trunk there are 8 LEDs in the rear panel to illuminate the floor from the back and an array of LEDS in the stock location. They are all wired to come on when the trunk is poped open and off when it is shut.

For the center console I have 2 orange leds in the upper cubbie hole door, 2 orange leds in the cup holders, 2 white leds in the storage bin tray and 2 white leds in the storage bin lid. They are wired to come on with the headlights.

The glove box has 2 white leds

The map lights each have an array of 8 white LEDs that function exactly like the stock, with doors open or if you manually turn them on.

To illuminate the floors, there are 3 white leds on each side of the underdash on the underdash trim piece, the leds can not be directly seen. There are 4 white leds on each seat front trim piece and 4 leds on the center console bottom facing the rear floor. All of these lights come on with the dome light, and fade out just like the dome light. If the map light is turned on these lights remain off.

The doors have 4 white leds mounted on the lower part of the door to illuminate the ground, 8 red leds in each door reflector. These lights come one only when a door is open, when the door is closed they go out, but the seat floor lights remain illuminated as long as the dome light is on. There is also an orange led in the door pocket to help see things at night, this is wired into the ignition so as long as the car is running they are on.

Thanks, I wanted to get the lights so you can't really see the source, most of them are hidden. You really need to see them in person, pics of low light conditons are hard to take.

If you're serious shoot me a PM of exactly what you want and we can meet up so you can see them. The doors are not too bad maybe an hour each install time, if you want the pocket lights that needs to be wired into the harness in the doors so it's a little bit longer. The floor lights are pretty time consuming as I need to grab power from the passenger side A-pillar and run wire under the dash and carpert to the seats. The console work takes the longest. If you want to minimize your down time, you can give me the panels and I can install them so actual working time on your car is minimized. The door panels are plug and play, I tap into the stock door light after the harness so no new connections are necessary.

yup, if you want it done I can do it for you but like you said it's pretty far. That's why I posted this in the Hawaii forum and not the body/interior/exterior/lighting forum. But if you're interested I can prewire the stuff but you would need to drill the holes and install the LEDs yourself and do the connections. If it's a small piece like the cubby hole door you can send it to me and I can modify it and send it back but that's getting kinda rediculous.

is that a serious question or are you just pokin' fun at me. I haven't done strobes before, but I did do neons. Strobes shouldn't be too hard, they come with the controller, the only difficult thing would be to get them hidden because the strobe head is so big, but it can be done.
