Question about tire and wheel spacer stuff.
Question about tire and wheel spacer stuff.
i'm getting the M45 rims, for my coupe, which have a 50 mm offset. i will need some pretty huge wheel spacers, just for them to fit. i'm currently lowered on 350z s-techs, and plan on lowering a LOT more with coilovers, like 2 more inches. i'm using the oem 19" tires, 225/40/19 and 245/40/19.
the question is:
whats the largest wheel spacer i can get, but when i'm lowered not have the tire hit my fenders. (assuming the camber is in OEM specs). fenders rolled and not rolled...
thanks.

just don't run fatty swamper tires. run a 30 series in the rear. depending on the brand, it won't be too drastic over oem.
also, remember that adding a wider stance is good, but if you hit crazy potholes/bumps you add stress on the suspension components. this leads to bending of them.

i'm going to be running the oem 19"s because i can't afford to be buying new tires now. so that the 40 series. so will a rim with 25mm offsets (if i get 25mm spacers) rub on a G thats dropped like 2 or more inches? i picked up the rims today, so i need to order my spacers asap!

keep in mind if you go with buddyclub or stance coilovers. Too shallow an offset in the rear, you'll end up rubbing the coilover. you'll be safer with 30mm spacer.

I have 2 - 5mm spacers, double'm up and get 10mm. If you can find anyone with 15mm and 20mm spacers...see if you can borrow them to test fit...then you'll know what size spacers you need to buy.
well i know i shouldn't rush. but as of now, i'm not dropped, super low, so i don't THINK i would rub now. and as for when i do get the coilovers, i just won't drop it so low untell my tires go, and then get some 30's and slam em.
*** the 30mm spacers are 20 buck more, 40 fricken dollars for 5 more mil. idk if i can "test" fit of any kind, because i'd need to swap the tires off the rims i have now, which i can't do untell i'm really for install.

You could get 25mm spacer & stack on another either 2mm or 5mm depends on your test fit.
I am running a Kitc 20mm spacer + a 2mm spacer, I don't want
the wheel to be pushed out too much because my BBK.
I had to get 225 tyre to replace my 235,
BTW my 235/45 18 Tyre is up on ebay incase anyone want a set:
