E brake
E brake
I only owned the G coupe for 2 weeks now and it has its good and its bad but this morning I woke up after a loooong night of drinking and found my car on the bottom of the hill attached to a pickup truck.. At first it didnt come to mind that it was my car but I took a second look and sure enough my damn car rolled down the hill. I take a look at it and find it exactly how I left it last night. Ebrake all the way up and stuck in second gear. I'm pretty salty now that I have a huge dent on my rear bumper and a pos that I can't park at my own house (NSX sits in the garage). I have already complained to infinity to have them tighten the ebrake when I had the radio replaced but got "If we tighten the ebrake anymore the brakepads will drag on the rotor". Whatever, so im selling it and buying another Honda.

do it.
the ebrake sucks *****, I've had to adjust it from time to time. I've always left the car in gear as well. I put wheel chucks whenever I'm at my girlfriends house because their driveway is fairly steep.

ive had problems all the time with that ebrake as well. I actually learned to drive stick on this car and one time when my friend was using it at a steep parking ramp so that i wouldnt slide back he pulled it up and the car still kept sliding back. This has happened a couple times when ive parked it as well. I noticed that i have to actually pull the brake up at least twice on my car to get it to actually hold on hills. I pull it up once to the top, then i have to pull it up from there extremely hard to try and move it a couple of millimeters higher. Pulling it once is almost never good enough no matter how hard i pull it.

I don't think I am cause I already bought the load of stuff for it but if this bad luck streak with this car continues its going. I forgot to mention a girl in a Merc reversed into the driver fender the day I bought it.
Agreed, the E brake sucks *****. Sorry to hear about this man.
Were you able to turn the wheels into a curb? No curbing?

WTF??? please sell the car. e-brake sucks, so what? adjust it...only takes a couple of turns of a nut underneath the center console.
over time your e-brake is gonna need adjusting. is it as easy to engage as some other cars, no, but to sell it over this? c'mon mang...be serious
good luck either way
and if you were in gear and still rolled, than you have bigger problems than just your e-brake
