Best place for tune-up?

Anyone know a good place for a tune-up, I dont want to take it to the dealership since I have my cold air intake installed, and I dont have the time to do it myself.

tune up is not needed for a long time. are you looking for a tune up, or just oil change? if it's oil change, schedule an appt. with senjen

I heard your supposed to change oil at 3000 for the first time then every 5000 after that. IF you want it cleaner every 3000 after that. I tried to remove oil filter WAS THAT A BITCH!!! IT wont budge. I'm like too weak or something.

yeah I think a gorilla put it on at the factory. I must have spent half an hour trying to get the fricken' filter off the first time.
I'm a lazy bastard so I switched to Mobil1 and change at 5k.

Oil Change

Sen_Jen how much do you charge for a regular oil change for the G? And what kind of oil do you use? I'll let you change my oil, then I'll pay you. Let me know.

^^

isnt your car still under 8k? use catrol gtx 5w30, they've been evaluated as next best thing up against synthetics. really! there was an evaluation made by sport rider magazine comparing motorcycle oils vs automotive oils, and due to the stress ratings and chemical contents, the GTX is the best as far as automotive standard oil goes. when used in motorcycles.

keep in mind, you're not to go to synthetics till after 8-10k because the rings are still using up the scoring marks in the cylinders.

and invest in some ramps. changing your oil doesnt take more than 20 minutes, including drain time, if you know what your doing. your first time would take the longest...the 2nd and on will get faster.

be sure to get the crush washer from nissan as well.

nah, leave the under pan on just reach up in the hole and take out the filter, it's a tight fit but she goes.

nothing. if you insist on paying, an LS430 would be okay.
