In the same way you shouldn't get in the car with someone who you know street races and has no regard for you wanting them to not do so while you are riding. If you see these situations as have a total of say..a total of 100% fault/responsibility and the only way for other people to have any responsibility is to take away a percentage of the driver's responsibility then fine, I rather you feel that the driver was 100% at fault and not 95.3% or something like that. I, however, don't feel that things such as responsibility can be quantified in real world scenarios because there are just too many variables so I believe that while the blame should be on the person who committed the act people who encouraged him to behave in such manner should realize they are responsible for their actions as well.
Michael Jackson and child molester scenarios are a little far from street racing, don'cha think? I think you got your analogy mixed up. Regardless, you're saying that its not his fault because his g/f told him to race. So, if my friend tells me to hit you while you're in the crosswalk because you didn't have the right of way, its not ALL my fault because he told me to do so. What to you think a panel of your peers would say??? ROFLMFAO!!!

I'm sorry if you misread what I posted but at no point did I say it was not the driver's fault. The whole point of what I was trying to get across is that people, not just the driver, contribute to these situations and to avoid future such situations it would be beneficial for people to look at these factors as well. Just saying the driver did something stupid doesn't help to prevent everything. For example, when some kids shoot up a school people spend time determining the causes for it is which leads to better understanding and guidelines for parents raising their children and teachers who deal with them at school in order to help stop it from happening again or as frequently. What they don't do is just go "those kids were stupid, oh well hope it doesn't happen again..." and decide to just tell kids to not shoot their classmates as a solution.

yeah im never street racing again... but i dunno if i can stop speeding tho.
I wont speed when theres a passenger... or alot of cars on the road... its hard not to speed... but you can choose not to put anyone else's life in danger.
