where can I get supplies to do fiberglass on the island? I'm gonna try my hand at molding some parts and need a source of fiberglass and plastic building materials. I would like to buy local so I can ask a lot of questions.

Plastics/plexi you'll need to go somewhere other than Fiberglas Hawaii. Should be a bunch in the phone book.

 

if you need just the cloth and the resin, you can go to kilgos.

sub box...hmmm, sounds a little too much for me at this point, in fact I was going to order the 4080 boxes myself. we should set up a Hawaii group buy. Actually I was planning on doing some dash work possibly to relocate the AC display to the outside of the upper glove box and put gauges in the stock location. Or vice versa, still need to think about this some more.
