I'm getting lazy changing my own oil. Where would you recommend I change oil...for cheap...preferably in the Waipahu area. Only place I've called was Midas and I don't feel like spending $70.

If this is the best price there is, then I guess I'll keep changing it myself.

 

$70 for an oil change?! I'm speechless.

 

wow even the Infiniti dealer charges 40-50 bucks lol... do they give you fries with that $70?

 

lmk. i just take it to my dad's shop...takes about 10-15 minutes altogether. he's likely free saterdays after 4pm. just bring your oil and your filter, or i can hook you up with the filter at nissan. if you're not using synthetic, his shop has castrol gtx 5w30 on tap. just go to pacific market and buy him a half gal, magnolia ube ice cream and call it good.

 

sound about right if they're using synthetics. mobil 1 syn costs about $25-$30 or $20-25 for regular oil. $7 for the oil filter. add $20 to the labor rate (probably more).

 

yeah, its for synthetic...if was normal oil change would've been $30 or so.
