Swaybar advice
Swaybar advice
MAinly a question for 636Racer but:
I just had my progress tech rear swaybars installed and about a week later it started making these clunking noises. I went back and tourqued down every bolt I loosened or took off and it keeps making the sound, what could it be?
I think it might be the bushing that came with it but I don't wanna go under the car again unless I know what it is for sure.
Also will the progress tech bar be ok with aftermarket exhaust use? specifically the Greddy EVOTT2
What do you people think about the
Cusco Zero 2
HKS Hypermax (any series)
Greddy Type R
Thanks in advance!

I had that problem. It was the bushings, you need to pack in the grease...and the grease that comes with the swaybars arent enough. go to any autoparts store and get lithium grease and pack it in. problem solved. you may want to pick up a set of adjustable endlinks from SPL, or wait till Z1auto makes their endlinks. the stock endlinks are too flimsy and too short.
you may have have some small clearance issues when installing an exhaust system. but once they settle they will clear. my piping is almost 3", it used to touch...anything smaller would clear the swaybar easment. If I were you, hold out for about 4-6 months before getting an exhaust system.
All those brands are pretty good. of those three, I'd pic HKS RS, then cusco, then Greddy. A good combo that I've been reading in Time attack and drift circuit are d-spec w/vogtland or swift springs.
