oil and filter change

Sup guys, it's time for my cars oil and filter change and I was wondering if you guys take it to the dealership or go to somewhere else? Ive been going to the dealership up to now for all my service but thinking about it today $60 seems kind of a lot for just that being done. I have a bunch of good quality filters(forget what brand but my friend said its a good one...) that the previous owner of the car gave me with it when I bought it from him a couple years ago. Is there a place that can just put in one of them and change the oil for cheap? Anyways TIA for any replies.

If you're not busy that sounds good. What should I bring? I got filters so I guess oil/food/beer? Any recommendation on how much, what brand/type, and from where?(in regards to the oil but if you have a certain beer/food preferences that too)

well I use mobile 1 synthetic. The choice of oil and filter is totally up to you though.
