On Sunday, 03-04-07, around 3:00 in the afternoon, parked the G on Kalakaua ave, street side parallel near the Aquairium to go to a Soccer game @ Kapiolani Park. Return 2 hrs later to find a huge dent on the drivers side fender between the wheel well and door. No note or witnesses. I have no fricken clue how someone hit me in that area while I was paralleled parked. It now sucks to have a $500 deductable.

Needed to vent, people should own up to their screwups!

 

yeah it's ridiculous how no one owns up for their mistakes on the road. My car was parked parallel on the street behind the japanese cultural center while i was doing a community service project for school and some lady swerved into it along with 4 other cars parked in front and behind. She tried to drive off despite the fact that she left her front bumper and license plate lying in the road b/c she hit the cars so hard and was caught trying to run because her car died about 100 feet down the road. Of course she had no insurance and we had to pay our insurance the $500 deductable as well.

 

ouch, sorry to hear that gu35k. this is why im building a portable minidvr mounted in my car for parking.

ouch sorry to hear that; drivers with poor eye sight will always hit dark cars.
