engine damper

Ok I highly don't recommend this part at all. Today I heard a funny wobble noise and thought maybe something on my suspension was shot. Turns out that the bracket the engine damper was installed on snapped right off. So yes no engine damper for me anymore. Don't know if your supposed to install it on that bracket but whatever, none the less it broke my sh*t.

should have invested in solid mounts.

Yeah as far as the catch can goes I think i'll leave it in there so when I do go FI it's already there. Other then that it serves no purpose.

engine dampener allows less vibration dude. sounds like it wasn't installed properly, or it was faulty. wasn't it an NRG engine dampener? as mma said, pair the damps up with solid engine mounts, ho cuz, garans mean kine notice! just gotta get used to the vibes.

yeah it most likely wasn't installed correctly. Correct me if I'm wrong but don't most engine dampers usually bolt up to the frame/strut tower bolts?

I believe they do bolt to the Strut tower bolts. Hey, did you have the Stillen Engine Dampener, or the Top Secret Engine Dampener? I'm thinking of purchasing the Top Secret one because it's blue.
