Bring it on. I miss hurricanes.

Nothing like losing power and throwing cards with the boys using candles or flashlights. Life slows down for a couple of days and puts things in perspective.

 

Damn thing looks like it's gonna go right over all the islands!

although i did enjoy it after the hurricane because there was no school, free meals, and u find simple things in life more enjoyable.

 

We got back from Hilo yesterday. We were there for the races. There were regular announcements made on the air. Everyone seemed pretty prepared for a possible direct hit. If there's anywhere, where the people are more prepared...it's ought to be the island of Hawai'i.

 

Man Iniki was manini for oahu. I remember it wasn't even raining on my side. Ended up playing football at the park cause we couldn't get anyone to take us to the beach!!

 

Whoever picked the names this year should be fired.

 

i know..for some reason..i keep hearing that song by kelis, "im bossy" when i hear any mention of hurricane flossie. "i'm flossie, i'm hurricane u see on the map..."

 

ohhh, so that's the artist's name, i was too lazy to google it. lol
