first of all, there are only three nissan dealerships on this island. second, all the gt-r's for this year are already sold out and there are already 5 people on the waiting list for next year. third... no dealership is going to budge on the price for this car considering that it is the most anticipated car to come out with limited quantities. you would be lucky if any of the dealerships on this island give you only a $10k mark-up because they can actually mark it up to $20k over msrp if they wanted.

Correct, only 3 on Oahu, but Falk on Maui is the 4th for the state.

No, not all the GT-R's are spoken for for this year as the dealer I'm talking with has one left and that guy is not marking up $10k, but they indicated the other dealerships were marking up at $10k.

It's Hawaii, so I know guys will buy, but I don't think they will sell all the models really quickly like they might on the mainland.

Thanks for the input.

One that I know of is the Tony Group. They had some equipment specifically for the GTR come in some time back.

I dont know if I could even get the car at employee cost either.

I wonder..if it will be possible to even take the engine and drivetain out of the GTR, and swap it in a G35...I don't know much about this chassi...but I know I've done something similar with that of an EVO into a GS-T. It was a pain...but it worked.

I am really surprised that anyone would want to. I honestly like the gtr's appearance better, but I guess is someone can put a LS1 v8 in a civic then anything is possible

Wow there's a lot of things going on that steering wheel.

Love the centered tachometer.
