For me...I'm not to worried about fillups in the Titan and the G35. I ride the 636 the majority of the time. Right now, I spend about $13/week in the 636. With the Hike, probably around $17/week when it comes. The only thing I worry about is rain.
If you guys are interested, I used to market some oil, trans, and fuel additive called bitron. It's a 3 part system and it's been working for me and, better than I had originally expected. I never followed through on the marketing side...but I see a potential need and demand for some kind of fuel saving solution now in the market place. I've been dormant at selling bitron, but I've been using it for my own personal benefit. Well..I can get back into it again, and start selling again...but, I just wanted to know if you guys were interested.
For me, I saw the added mpg i got between fillups in the G35, as well as the performance behind it...naturally, reduced visits to the gas station. I saw at least a 15% increase in added mpg between fillups and at least 8rwhp increase. I did a dyno session at the old mapunapuna endless garage location to see the before and after results of the bitron system when I first started. Now I use them in the 636 and in the G35. And when I'm done making enough miles on the Titan, it's going in. I concluded with myself that the price I paid for the product payed for itself by means of reduced visits to the pump every month and really stretching the gas in the tank.
I just wanted to share my experience with bitron and how I'm affiliated with them. I'm not going to convince you guys to buy this stuff but, it is out there in the marketplace.

The Titan is AWSOME! It was about $65 to fillup at shell in waipahu with 20 gal. of 87 octane. Not too bad...it's like filling up the G35 with 15 gal. 92 octane. Fillups are about once a month or more like a month and a half in the G35 since I've been using the bike more often.
I think you'll fit on a VROD just fine
I love those bikes. Came close to buying prior to the Titan.
If gas saving vehicles were of concern. I'd pick a ego boosting motorcycle over a yaris/versa/fit any day.

Well true but I think I'd kill myself on a bike. As far as gas prices I'm not to concerned and just accept it as a part of life. I remember back in the day when premium was 2.25 and bitched about it raising to 2.50 since in those days a .25 cent increase was almost unheard of. Now it wouldn't surprise me that next summer has prices could reach that 5 dollar mark

Agreed, just gotta accept it. There isnt much the consumer can do to reduce the price of oil. But the consumer does what they can to help offset it - From buying synthetic oils to catching the bus, or the latter...make more money.
