jack stands

need help with the jack stands my car is too damn low for them to fit underneath and i have no were 2 put my jack next to the stands can some people help me out? got to repaint my rims all over again

i used to have those big azz jack stands, but then i went sears and got some that are so tall...

How is your car too low? I use a low profile jack to get it up and then use my stands on the 2nd setting. Sounds like you need lower jack stands.

this is what i do... drive up on 2x4 wood blocks and get the jack onto a jacking point, then put your jack stands under.

if you cant do that, use your stock jack in the trunk to start it, then use a hydraulic jack near the jacking point then put the jack stands where you took out the stock jack.

i got a question... i use the 2x4's also, but it only really works for the front, seems like just about every time i try for the rears they just shoot out the back. guess i gotta glue em to the ground.?
