looks good.. i think it'd be nice to make the clearance strip LEDs (white) also

so did you just cut the backing to be a bread board instead of plastic and wire them all in series/parallel and add some resistors? what was the impendence of the setup? PM me details, i can do this myself, i just dont know the statistics of the input jack.
