maui cruise

Just tossing around the idea and getting everyones thoughts. With the superferry going to Maui regularly and the prices not too bad, just wanted to see if anyone would be interested in heading over to Maui for a cruise, hook up with some of the Maui Gs. Going to cost some dollars though because we will be staying for a day or two. Just wanted to put it out there and see if anyone was interested.

$49 per person, $55 vehicle. for all you lowered G's, you might have to raise it up a little bit. i scraped it on the ramp a little when i went to maui last month

yeah, that was one of my questions was how it was getting the car up that ramp.

it looks worse than it actually is. from oahu to maui, minor scraping of the front bumper and muffler tips at the bottom of the ramp leading to the top level(I think they put all the cars and small suv's here, and the trucks and bigger suvs on the bottom level). exiting the ramp on maui, minor scrape of the front bumper but as we were leaving the dock there was this speed hump that had to be angled and ended up scraping the whole bottom. coming back to oahu i was lucky enough that the ship wasn't full so we got the bottom deck. and for some odd reason that speed hump that was there the first time wasn't there when we loaded up again. maybe we could request to be on the bottom level?

That Scraping does not sound so good, I would hate to scrape the Whole Bottom of my G, just going over that one Bump. Can we enter the boat ramp at an angle? Instead of straight dead on?? At an angle have a better chance of not scrapping as bad? But I never been on the Superferry, so I am just wondering? But I may be up for this? would this be a one day event? Or need a hotel room also?

I was too afraid that someone was gonna yell at me for going in at an angle lol, so i just went straight on but it was minor scraping. probably cuz my car isn't that low. It was just that last speed hump as I was exiting the pier that killed the bottom. Man if I was still living on Maui you all would've been welcomed to stay at our place
