Sup mdnt,

Hope everything goes well with your coupe. Looking forward to see you in the next meetings. I have a question, isn't that a TT setup for a 350Z? If so is this gonna fit in the G35?

Chris

Re: HAWAII: POWER ENTERPRISE TT KIT BEING INSTALLED

Hey

I stumbled on this thread totally by accident.

I wanna commend you on your choice of the TT. One piece of advise, you NEED to send your ECU in to TS and they wll give you the perfect program to run at up to 8.5 psi if you want. PE says that that wiil void the warranty, but it's up to you... Do not turn up the boost on your car over 5.5 psi with your stock program or you will get detonation...

Do every one a favor, start a thread on the Tech/Mods forum so we can all see waht you are doing.

One question, who did you go through to get the kit and when did you get it?

Gurgen

Re: HAWAII: POWER ENTERPRISE TT KIT BEING INSTALLED

I might go with a stand alone or a piggy back like the hks or the autronic ... right now i am still waiting for the 1 step colder spark plugs, and if possible waiting for the shop owner to go to japan to get plugs that are 2-3 steps colder ... before running any higher boost i would like to do some motor work like pistons, head gaskets and rods... and i went through a shop in hawaii Speed Gear Motor Sports and they ordered it straight from Power Enterprise ... I'll start up a thread once i get my guages in and the dyno test .. thanks for the reply =)

Re: HAWAII: POWER ENTERPRISE TT KIT BEING INSTALLED

PE USA or PE Japan?

I thought the 5 kits on shipment are still not here - in fact I know that for sure. My PE kit is in customs now - can't wait to get it.

The beauty of PE is that you do NOT need any piggyback ECUs, so your reliability is VERY VERY high that way (the PE injectors ar ecompatible with the Nissan ECU's signaling - unlike greddy's RC injectors).

Another thing, you do NOT want to go more than 1 step colder, or at most 2 steps, as it will transfer all the heat to your coolant, and the higher coolant temperature will yield lower performance (ECU will adjust timing). That's why proper timing retardation is essential with any turbo kit. BTW, you can get 1 and 2 steps colder plugs from clubplug.net. Denso Iridiums : IKH-16 (stock), IKH-20 (1 step colder), IKH-22 (2 steps colder).
